We are currently undertaking training for The Wirral Active Playground Scheme. The Wirral Active Playground Scheme is a structured programme which responds to the needs of individual schools through an identified training programme that focuses on increasing the amount of physical activity that young people do during school breaktimes. Older children, a lunchtime support manager and other identified members of staff will deliver challenging and fun activities, which we believe will ensure the yard is always an exciting play space where interesting things are organised and children can learn in a safe and supportive environment.
We have also had support from Bebington High Sports College whose pupils have worked with children in years 1 and 2 at lunchtime, delivering activities from the Scheme which the children have thoroughly enjoyed.
